ABOUT

THADD KRUEGER began his journey to 'self proclaimed stardom' in his living room at the age of six, when his Mom handed him a toy microphone and recorded him singing YOU LIGHT UP MY LIFE on a clunky 1950's tape recorder. From then on, he was bit by the creative show biz bug. Growing up in a small town 50 miles north of Chicago, life was mowed lawns, ice cream trucks and ten speeds. A precocious youth, he filled his days with Star Wars, bugging his older sister ' Nisey, and dreams of one day becoming the next Bionic man, complete with Bionic dog. In High School, Thadd was really bit when he began performing in musicals and plays, beginning a now 20 year love of theatre and performing arts.

Thadd.studied theatre and voice at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts in 1994. He left the ruralness of Wisconsin and returned to his homestate to emerse himself in the flourishing Chicago theatre scene. While in Chicago, he appeared in award winning productions of SWEENEY TODD, FAHRENHEIT 451, HERE'S LOVE, PHANTOM, MY FAIR LADY...and many others, and was thrilled to understudy THE BALLAD OF LITTLE JO at Chicago's nationally acclaimed Steppenwolf Theatre starring Broadway legend Judy Kuhn. Thadd was regularly seen at cabaret spotlights throughout Chicago, and dabbled in feature film background work, commercial, voice-over and industrials from 1994-2001. He also enjoyed a three year stint as a voice teacher for local performing art schools, and office management for the Chicago based creative consultant firm Closerlook, Inc.

In 2002, he moved to New York City realizing a lifelong goal and dream, and was promptly cast in the drama SAPPHO'S KISS at Manhattan's The Cutting Room..The spring of 2002 was spent engrossed in the NY audition circuit for national tours to regional theatre to Broadway. Offers came from all over the country, and he was chosen for an opinion article in the entertainment trade paper BACKSTAGE. Thadd has appeared in several east coast regional productions including: WILL ROGERS FOLLIES, I LOVE YOU YOU'RE PERFECT NOW CHANGE, THE STUDENT PRINCE, RUMORS, as well as touring nationally with the Nebraska Theatre Caravan in A CHRISTMAS CAROL and FOREVER PLAID in Des Moines. On the New York stage, he has appeared Off-Broadway in NERDS:// for the New York Musical Theatre Festival, the New York International Fringe Festival, Off-Off Broadway in THE BOOK OF THE DUN COW with Prospect Theater and WORLD'S AWAY at the Producers Club. Most recently, Thadd has gone the tv and film route appearing in commercials, training videos, the independent film THE COFFEE SHOP and on Nick@Nites Road Crew in October 2006. In 2004, he acquired an agent on Broadway, and continues to forge ahead accepting the actor's destiny to 'become comfortable with the uncomfortable'. ---"I am an artist. I'm an actor. I'm a singer. I belong in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, wherever I can have that outlet professionally. I want to explore all these options and I know NOW is the time."

Thadd Krueger is a man with a mission and purpose-- and is definitely one to be watched.

PHILOSOPHY

I draw my philosophies from many sources...God, books, friends, life experiences. Life is fragile and uncertain at best....it has peaks and valleys. The TRUE test of your character is how you respond to them. I am interested in becoming a great performer, but I am more interested in becoming a great person in my life.

"What you think about expands. If your thoughts are centered on 'What's missing?', then 'Whats missing?', by definition, will have to expand"~Wayne Dyer

"When you do not stand fully in the truth of what you know, what you feel and who you are, you are withholding your love." ~Iyanla Vanzant

"If you worry about what other people think of you, then you are owned by them..and slavery is dead honey.."~Oprah
