My background is graphic design and motion design. I got my BFA in design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Sometimes I need to get away from the computer and work with my hands so over the years I've worked in clay, glass and canvas. When she was younger my sister named her goldfish after food and beverages. That inspired this painting.
