About:
In 1995, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in design at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign . After working many years in the design industry
I wanted a break
from the digital medium. I wanted to work with my hands.
One day I saw a show
on glassblowing and got hooked on glass. I taught
myself how to make glass beads
and marbles and absolutely loved it. I would rush home after work to make marbles (yes, I know I'm a geek!). I sent my friend a few glass buttons I
made and she suggested I start selling my glass pieces. And that's how my little
business started. Hope you enjoy
looking at my work!
More of my work is for sale in my Etsy Shop.
(note: all my glass work is kiln annealed for strength and durability)
You can also check out my design portfolio at www.sighfoo.com and if you
would really like to know more, take a peek at my obsession
with food at my
recipe
journal!
